Roman Rikkert is a wonderful young man with a very difficult life story. Roman has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, and he is also an orphan and a resident of the Obereg Rehabilitation Center in Bishkek. Thanks to your support, we will be able to purchase the necessary medications and hygiene supplies for our Roma. This help is truly invaluable! Recently, it has become hard for Roman to walk, so we now take him on excursions in a wheelchair. Roman has good days, when he smiles, and bad days, when epileptic seizures give him no rest at all. But despite all the challenges, he cherishes every good day — because so many people believe in him, people who helped raise the needed funds, as well as the entire team of the Obereg Rehabilitation Center, which has already become his family. Thanks to you, Roman leads a full and vibrant life: he goes to the circus, theatres, cinemas, and playgrounds, and this summer once again spent time resting and gaining strength at Lake Issyk-Kul — the jewel of Kyrgyzstan.
