Ruslan is a disabled child. His mother takes constant care of him, helps him to adapt to the world around him and to study at a remedial school.
The boy was born with abnormalities: six fingers and toes, a dilated pelvis was diagnosed. The tests were bad. Immediately from the maternity hospital Ruslan went to another hospital, where he spent a month. There the baby was found to have a strong muscle tone and as a consequence - delayed development of speech and hand motor skills. Then Ruslan underwent examinations and medical rehabilitation in the inpatient department of the State Budgetary Institution “Children's Clinical Hospital named after Pichugin P.I.”. There, doctors identified epileptiform activity in him, due to which Ruslan was prohibited a number of medical drugs and manipulations to avoid worsening of his condition.
Ruslan has a delay in psycho-verbal development. The boy is constantly monitored by a psychiatrist, and is also registered with a neurologist, immunologist, ophthalmologist and orthopedist. He undergoes medical rehabilitation two or three times a year. Despite his health problems, Ruslan is a cheerful, cheerful and active child. Ruslan loves to play with railroads and cars, likes to kick a ball and skate.
Constant examinations eventually led Ruslan to a geneticist, who ordered the boy to undergo a “Complete Genome Sequencing” study. This analysis will help to determine the causes of Ruslan's health problems, identify the risks of complications and prescribe the right treatment that will allow the boy to develop.
