Amin is a boy who is only 10 years old, but has been battling chronic myeloid leukaemia for two years. His life changed in the summer of 2022 when the first symptoms of the disease appeared: headaches, fatigue and an enlarged stomach. Then high fever and a sore throat joined in. Treatment began immediately, and the boy underwent several courses of chemotherapy. But the fight against the disease continues, and now Amin is again to be treated in a Moscow clinic.
Amin's mum, who is accompanying her son, has appealed for help. The family needs support to cover the cost of travelling to Moscow, food for the duration of his stay there, and necessary medical tests. Without our help it will be difficult for them to cope.
Amin is a cheerful and talented child. He loves to draw and sculpt and tries to keep up with his studies despite his illness. Let's not leave this family alone in dealing with such a serious challenge.
Any help you can give makes a difference. Together we can make their journey easier and support Amin in his endeavour to overcome the disease.
