Temurbek was born prematurely at 28 weeks of pregnancy in a serious condition. The boy and his mother stayed in the perinatal centre for 33 days, after which they were discharged. At the age of 7 months Temirbek was diagnosed with retinopathy of prematurity of the 5th degree. The boy underwent the first operation on both eyes in Tashkent, but it did not yield any results. The doctors advised the parents to go to Russia for treatment, and the boy's family agreed. The family did not have the financial means to pay for their son's surgery on their own, as the father works as a teacher and the mother is raising four children, including Temurbek. They only had enough money for basic needs. They turned to our fund on the recommendation of their friends. One operation in September has already been paid for by kind Tubers, but since this insidious disease is treated only in stages, help is needed to continue treatment, for the next operation on the left eye.
