Due to your help Vanya has received a wheelchair!

Pregnancy of Vanya Tikhonov's mom was without complications, but the childbirth took long time. Due to hypoxia and asphyxia, Vanya didn't cry immediately after birth, he was sent to the intensive care unit and connected to ALV (artificial lung ventilation). At the age of 1 y.o. during another examination at the hospital, doctors diagnosed him with cerebral palsy. As Vanya grew, his feet began to deform, so he underwent foot reconstruction surgery. After this surgery Vanya lost all skills, he acquired previously, and stopped walking. Additionally, he got grade 3 scoliosis. Now Vanya is 15 years old. He is a kind and sociable boy, knows how to enjoy life, likes to play with his younger brother. Vanya's main goal now is to get back the skills he had before the surgery. Vanya needs a specialized wheelchair so that he could go to rehabilitation centers without damage to his health and in the correct position. Such a wheelchair is light and fits in a taxi. This will also help Vanya's mom as she brings him up alone. Let's all together help Vanya and his mom improve their quality of life and achieve all goals!
