Hamza needs expensive medicines to cope with complications of congenital immunodeficiency disease

Little Hamza is 5 years old. Only recently, the boy has suffered dozens of infections of all kinds - chicken pox, pneumonia, stomatitis, otitis media and maxillary sinusitis. In his hometown doctors, alas, could not help Hamza, and the boy was hospitalized at the Rogachev Medical Center in Moscow.

The child's condition was critical - another fungal infection had reached the brain. The only possible salvation was surgery. Fortunately, the intervention was successful and Hamza pulled through.

The examination showed that the boy has a congenital defect in the immune system gene, which makes him defenseless against any infections. To recover, Hamza needs expensive replacement therapy with donor antibodies.
