Yaroslav and Miroslava are orphans with congenital spinal disease, both of them move in wheelchairs.
Yaroslav was born with an abnormality of the spine and until the age of 10 moved only in a wheelchair. Last year, the boy underwent orthopedic surgery, several stages of plaster casting, and now he will undergo a rehabilitation course to learn how to stand and walk on his feet for short distances. The child has a chance to get back on his feet!
Miroslava underwent a unique spinal surgery. The girl is now in a long period of recovery and follow-up.
Yaroslav and Miroslava are both currently undergoing long-term treatment in St. Petersburg with the support of MBOO "Ty emy nuzhen", which provides children with everything they need. On the recommendation of doctors, children need some regular procedures with using special catheters.
