Nikolay has been living without his mother since birth in the palliative care unit of the Ulyanovsk Hospital under the supervision of doctors. The boy's health situation is so complicated that it is impossible to transfer Kolya to an orphanage.
The MBOO "Ty emy nuzhen" organized a consultation and an urgent operation for the boy in Moscow. There is still a long way to go in medical research, treatment, and more than one surgical intervention.
Neither the boy's parents nor his grandmother, under whose care Kolya is, are able to take full care of the child.
Despite the operation, Kolya cannot be left for a minute – he has severe seizures that can lead to serious consequences if the doctors do not react in time. At the request of the hospital department management, MBOO "Ty emy nuzhen" provided Kolya with a 24-hour nurse who looks after the boy and helps in caring for him.
