25 cancer patients got a chance to keep on the treatment by travelling to other cities

Our patient Nelly has been fighting cancer for five years. The first operation Nelly underwent was resection of a fragment of her breast gland. In 2020 after that, a histologic examination showed that she had melanoma. For 7 months she was treated with immunotherapy, but her condition worsened and the therapy did not help. On reviewing the stacks, it turned out that she had triple negative breast cancer. This is a very aggressive form in which cancer cells tend to divide rapidly, which is accompanied by a high rate of tumor growth. The breast surgery was successful, but six months later there was a relapse with metastases in her right arm, and the disease deprived Nelly of the arm completely. With the severe diagnosis, Nelly cannot work as she used to. She is very fatigued because despite the path she has traveled, she has to undergo chemotherapy further. The treatment takes a lot of energy, and she is also burdened with taking care of her son and daughter. We raise donations for travel costs of 22 cancer patients to get the treatment.
