Little Yusuf, born prematurely at 29 weeks, struggled for life from the very beginning. His mother's diagnosis of overeclampsia and an emergency caesarean section, the baby's heartbeat slowing down, all made for a rough start to his life. In March 2022, Yusuf was diagnosed with retinopathy of prematurity. An operation in St Petersburg by a renowned surgeon immediately followed. Since then, Yusuf has already undergone seven complex operations. Thanks to them, the right eye has been preserved as an organ of vision, and the left eye retina and vision have been restored. Yusuf wears glasses. Yusuf recently suffered an eye injury in a specialised kindergarten, after which his eye began to react badly to any stimuli. Unfortunately, Yusuf's family is in an extremely difficult financial situation. They have already spent all their savings on previous surgeries and they need help.
