Ibrahim is 7 years old, he has fourth-degree sensorineural hearing loss, delayed speech development and autism spectrum disorder.
During the aba therapy classes, work was carried out to establish leadership control, a token reward system and the first stage of alternative communication using special PECS cards were introduced to Ibrahim. With a speech therapist, the child learned to pronounce individual sounds correctly and clearly and put them into words, onomatopoeia appeared.
The sensory integration specialist worked on improving Ibrahim's large and small motor skills, and adjusted the work of the vestibular apparatus. Now the child feels more confident in his body in space, he can perform exercises while standing on a balance beam or swinging on a swing.
