Tagrul received a prosthetic arm!

At the age of two, Togrul had an accident – he lost four fingers. At first, the boy hid his hand, avoided other children, and felt inferior. Sessions with a psychologist and communication with other children with special needs helped Togrul cope with his inner experiences. Gradually, he learned to live with one hand: dress himself, eat, ride a bicycle and scooter, draw and even sculpt. At the age of 4, Togrul received the first active prosthesis in his life thanks to you, our philanthropists, and the Motorica company. The boy quickly learned how to use it: hold a glass, pour water, get dressed. He called himself a robot and was proud of his "new hand". He gained more self-confidence, and he was happy to show his unusual "hand" to others. Now Togrul is seven years old, and now the second prosthesis has become too small for him and brings discomfort. However, life without a prosthesis is no longer possible for him. This is not only a means of adaptation, but also a necessity for health. The prosthesis helps to maintain posture and evenly distribute the load on the spine, which is especially important during the period of active growth of the child.
