According to Tajik doctors, Nurullokh was born with an inoperable heart defect and should have died when he was 5 years old. "Get over it," his mother was told. But the mother found stories of other children with the same abnormal heart as her son-they were much older than five and were alive. And the difference between them and her child was that they were born where doctors had the experience and equipment to operate on their diseased hearts.
The experience and equipment were and are at the Bakoulevsky Cardiology Center in Moscow. The money for treatment for the little foreigner was collected by people who cared. Nurullokh already had blue lips and fingers, he was not walking and could hardly breathe when his mother brought him to Moscow. The doctors said that he should have been brought earlier, when a radical correction was possible - once for life. But they did not give up on the child: two surgeries a few years apart "mended" the extra holes in the boy's heart, partially restored blood flow, and prescribed medications to help the heart beat until the next operation. The doctors gave Nurulloch a heart. And all together we gave the boy a future.
But Nurulloh is yet to have more than one surgery, and the medication he will have to take for life - very late he got into the hands of doctors.
And now it is time for the next surgical treatment. The boy's family has no money to pay for it - his mother works as a school teacher and his father is an electrician, so they will not be able to pay for his son's treatment. Our fund has been helping the boy since he came to Moscow for the first time, he grew up before our eyes and went to school. And there is no way he can be abandoned now. Help from people who care about him is needed again!
