Any medicine packages have their own instructions, for example: "Store at a temperature of 2 to 8 degrees" or "Do not freeze". Such instructions are also important for veterinary drugs, since the life of animals depends on the quality of their storage.
Vaccines, medicines, and antibiotics all require strict temperature control. If the conditions are violated, the drug may simply not work. In a conventional refrigerator, it is difficult to ensure the desired mode: the temperature jumps every time the door is opened, and humidity is not controlled.
To store veterinary drugs, you need special equipment — a pharmaceutical refrigerator. It maintains the required temperature and humidity by itself, without allowing deviations. If it gets too hot or cold inside, the refrigerator will signal this.
More than 500 animals live in the Devoted Heart shelter, which regularly need medical help. We really need a pharmaceutical refrigerator to store medicines properly and save ponytails without risk!
