Nastya is a graduate of an orphanage. She is a ward of the Mentoring program for children in orphanages. In the spring of 2024, Nastya was hit by a train.
"Nastya had broken bones and damaged internal organs," recalls Olga, Nastya's mentor. When the accident happened, Olga herself and other volunteers came to support Nastya, visited her in the hospital, and helped her buy medicines.
After Nastya was hit by a train, she needs rehabilitation, and later she will have several more operations.
"Nastya is an adult and independent,— says Olga. "Despite her injuries, she took responsibility for herself, her health, her apartment, and her life."
Now Nastya needs funds so that she can purchase medicines for six months of rehabilitation, perform the necessary operations and learn to walk on her own again. It's hard for her, but she doesn't lose heart and believes in the best.
