Raisa Ilyasovna was born in Kazakhstan, but moved to the Chechen Republic in early childhood, where she has lived her entire life. She became a teacher, as she dreamed of, and worked at a school in Grozny for 25 years. Raisa has a wonderful family, children and grandchildren.
In 2016, she faced serious health problems - she was diagnosed with an intestinal tumour. An operation, a long recovery period. And Raisa overcame the disease.
In the summer of 2024, while undergoing an annual check-up, Raisa discovered blood problems. She was referred for consultation to a haematologist at the Blokhin National Medical Research Centre for Oncology in Moscow. There they diagnosed her with chronic myeloid leukaemia and prescribed treatment with an expensive drug. The family bought the necessary medicine, but Raisa had a severe allergic reaction on her face. The medicine had to be replaced. Now she is prescribed therapy with a new medicine, but Raisa's family cannot buy the medicine on their own.
