It often happens that a child needs a short rest after surgery, and then doctors recommend rehabilitation to consolidate the results of medical interventions.
What to do with the child at this time? Send him back to his orphanage for a few days and then bring him back? This is an extra stress for children who have already gone through difficult medical procedures. In addition, it is advisable that the child be under the supervision of the doctors who treated him for some time.
For these purposes the foundation rents an apartment in St. Petersburg so that orphans can live there for a few days with accompanying adult from the foundation.
