Distilled water is pure water without impurities, salts and minerals. It is necessary for the work of the shelter's laboratory: based on it, we prepare solutions for analysis, wash the equipment and use it in animal blood tests.
Ordinary water cannot be used because it may contain salts and impurities that will distort the test results. Therefore, without distilled water, it is impossible to determine exactly what a tailed patient is sick of, and therefore prescribe the right treatment.
Now we are buying such water in large volumes, and this is a big expense.
Four special devices — distillers — will allow us to get clean water on our own, save money and help animals faster. This is an important piece of equipment that will make veterinary care at the shelter more accessible and effective.
Please support the collection! Your help will help 500 tailed patients receive timely treatment.
