Makar is a 2-year-old child with congenital health issues. The boy has cerebral palsy.
The baby spent the first 2 years of his life in a children's home. When Makar's adoptive mother, Alina, took the boy into her family, it became clear that the child had not received proper care in the orphanage. The child was weak, could not hold his head, did not crawl, and could not roll over.
The adoptive parents are ready to do everything to help Makar minimize the consequences of his congenital diagnosis. Thanks to their care, the boy has already learned to crawl, and his hand mobility and swallowing and chewing skills have improved.
Makar's foster parents also have five biological children and one foster daughter, Makar's sister, so they turned to our foundation for help.
Makar underwent a rehabilitation course that focused on developing his ability to rise from his knees and stand on his feet, as well as improving his speech and sound production.
Thank you to everyone who helped us pay for Makar's rehabilitation!
