Kira has delayed mental and speech development. After two years, the girl stopped speaking, understanding spoken language, learning new skills, distancing herself from other children, and stopped being interested in toys.
After a course of classes with an adaptive physical education coach and a sensory integration specialist, Kira's sensory-motor skills improved, the girl began to keep her balance better, and there was a positive trend in the development of large and small motor skills. Kira learned how to throw and catch a ball, jump, pedal, work out on a treadmill and even went through an obstacle course.
In classes with a behavioral analyst, Kira learned to distinguish motivational stimuli from cards and to put together 6-piece puzzles. The girl's motor simulation skills have improved. Kira also became more confident in using the pointing gesture, including in everyday life. The girl can now follow up to 5 instructions and simulate about 10 movements with or without objects. The baby's behavior also improved – she became more attentive and calm during classes, showed perseverance and interest in games.
Thank you for helping Kira! Thanks to your support, the girl underwent a rehabilitation course for free!
