Nurkhayet underwent surgery to treat retinopathy. Thank you!

Nurkhaet is now 1.5 years old, she was born at 27 weeks with a weight of only 900 grams. After 46 days in hospital and 28 days on oxygen, she was diagnosed with ‘stage 5 retinopathy.’ She has already undergone two surgeries - the first on 1 February and the second on 28 March 2024 in Tashkent. After the interventions, Nurkhaet began to react weakly to light, which gives her hope for a better future. To consolidate the result and improve her vision, her parents were recommended to seek help from an ophthalmic surgeon in St Petersburg. Unfortunately, surgeries for foreign citizens are paid, so they need your support. Mum is a housewife, dad is a labourer, their family budget is really limited.
