Safiya got a stroller!

Safiya is 11 years old. She's a kind, bright girl with dreams like any child. Due to cerebral palsy, Safiya cannot walk independently. Her mother, who has been raising Safiya alone for many years, has taken on the full responsibility of caring for her daughter. They live in the Ufa district of Bashkortostan, and their world, unfortunately, is limited by the walls of their apartment and the capabilities of an old, worn-out wheelchair. The family budget is very modest, and funds for the most basic necessities are desperately short. A wheelchair is more than just a means of transportation. For Safiya, it means legs, freedom, and the opportunity to be part of the world. Now her old wheelchair has become dangerous: it's difficult to control, doesn't provide adequate support for her growing back, and is at risk of breaking. Safiya is growing up, and the old design is no longer physically suitable. A new, properly fitted active wheelchair is a matter of safety, health, and development. This is an opportunity for Safiya to sit upright, go for walks independently, not be constantly dependent on her mother for every movement, and simply feel more confident.
