There are 500 cats in our shelter. And every week there are new ones.
Kittens are thrown to the door of the shelter. They often bring us adult cats in a cardboard box wrapped with duct tape. Volunteers bring animals from the streets, basements of houses and entrances.
All these animals have a different history. But there is something that unites them: everyone needs timely veterinary care.
Stray animals are often infected with parasites. Worms are not just something unpleasant, they are a serious threat. Parasites feed at the expense of the animal's body, robbing it of all useful substances. A cat can lose weight dramatically, its fur becomes dull, and digestive problems appear. In severe cases, the parasites infect the liver, lungs, and heart.
Kittens are especially vulnerable: their bodies are weaker, and infection can lead to anemia, severe exhaustion, and irreversible consequences.
Parasite treatments are needed for all tailed animals — from kittens to adult cats and old men. We are raising funds to purchase 110 packages of antiparasitic drugs. These drugs will help get rid of parasites and protect animals.
