Fundraising Completed: Support for Children with Spina Bifida Becomes More Accessible. 20 Psychologists Trained — Thank You for Your Support!

The Spina Bifida Foundation has accumulated extensive experience in psychological support for parents and children diagnosed with spina bifida. We see interest on the part of psychologists in the specifics of working with children with congenital malformation and their families. We are opening a fundraiser to pay for a psychology course lecturer who will train professionals in an online course. In the course, we will discuss with professionals the physical and emotional needs of children with spina bifida, the impact of the diagnosis on self-esteem, social adjustment and emotional well-being of children, and more. Our goal is for as many professionals in the field of psychology as possible to gain knowledge and skills in working with the characteristics of the diagnosis and families.
