Ibrahim is 6 years old, he has an organic disorder of perinatal origin with severe speech impairment, mental retardation with severe emotional and volitional impairment. By the age of 3, Ibrahim began to change, became withdrawn, stopped responding to the name, and lost all his skills.
With an adaptive sports coach, Ibrahim learned how to perform exercises on various simulators – a treadmill, an exercise bike. The boy also learned how to jump over barriers, crawl under them, jump on a trampoline, and keep his balance on a balance beam. The child has become much better at managing his condition and controlling his body.
As a result of intensive training with a behavioral analyst, Ibrahim learned how to sort cards into 10 categories, distinguish objects by function and characteristics, compare parts of a whole, distinguish between two-component instructions, and mastered motor imitation. The boy also became calmer, more persevering, easier to get in touch with teachers.
