At three months of age, little Abdullo had a fever and his abdomen grew in size. After examination the boy was found to have a large malignant tumour of the abdominal cavity - hepatoblastoma.
The parents managed to raise funds for chemotherapy. Our foundation opened fundraising for the operation. Thanks to your support the little boy successfully underwent a complex operation to remove the tumour.
‘Our boy is just a baby, he has already had so many trials. He is taking the treatment hard, but we believe that our son will definitely cope,’ Abdullo's parents say.
Now Abdullo's liver function is declining rapidly. More tests and treatment are needed. The parents have no money to pay the new hospital bills, they have exhausted their financial possibilities. His father works as a courier and takes any job, but the money he earns is not enough.
