The family could not cope with raising the boy; his condition was very serious when he was admitted to Moscow for treatment. Caring for Kolya required a lot of attention from the visiting nanny of the Road of Life Foundation, strict hygiene rules, patience, sleepless nights...
But the doctors' work and the nanny's care bore fruit: Kolya got stronger, gained weight, learned to eat on his own, walk first with support, and then without. He says his first words!
Kolya successfully underwent surgery to remove his colostomy, and this will significantly improve the boy's quality of life: now he is less dependent on constant hygiene procedures, will be able to travel long distances and swim in the pool. Thank you for helping Kolya go through this journey next to his beloved nanny.
