Unfortunately, due to short bowel syndrome, the body of a one-and-a-half-year-old Asilia does not absorb any proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals contained in conventional infant formulas. This means that a child cannot grow up on regular food and even therapeutic nutrition. The baby's nutrition is parenteral almost from birth (all nutrients enter the body with the help of droppers). Because of this, mom and Asilia lived in hospitals for many months, because only there the girl was provided with everything she needed for free.
