Kirill is a cheerful boy who loves walking, playing with children and is interested in football. Once he was lucky enough to attend a real match, and that day became one of the brightest days of his life.
Kirill was born prematurely and spent the first months in hospital. Later he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and a 4th degree hearing loss in his left ear. Since his birth, his mother did everything to help her son: she looked for specialists, took him to rehabilitations and supported him.
Comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation gave noticeable improvements. In 2022 Kirill underwent surgery on his legs, as the muscles could not keep up with the growth and walking became painful. After the operation, regular rehabilitation helped Kirill to become more confident: he learnt to stand, get up from a chair and, most importantly, took his first independent steps. In 2024 he was fitted with a cochlear implant, which helps him to develop his hearing and speech. Kirill is working hard, doing exercises, learning poems, drawing and becoming more independent every day.
To consolidate and build on these successes, Kirill needs to continue his rehabilitation. Let's support him so that he can complete the next course and take more steps towards independence!
