Specialized nutrition was given to the children's hospice. Thank you!

In 2020, our organization created the Emerald City Hospice, the only children's hospice in the Black Earth region. The Emerald City accepts children with palliative status, including those with cancer. Children receive special care and procedures, and their families have the opportunity to share their child's care with professionals for at least a short time, ask doctors all their questions, learn about the specifics of child care, and receive the support of volunteers and other parents. Most of the children who come to the hospice need special nutrition: someone eats through a tube, someone cannot digest regular food due to the disease.
