Aisha was born prematurely when her mother's life was in danger. The doctors did everything possible to save both mom and baby.
The girl spent 11 days in intensive care. The baby's breathing was supported by a ventilator. Then there was another month in the neonatal pathology department.
In the second month of life, Aisha was diagnosed with a serious problem — retinopathy of prematurity of both eyes of the III-IV degree. This disease threatened her eyesight, and the baby was sent for treatment in order to preserve the ability to see the world around her.
It's been five years and six surgeries on each eye.
The last of them was to clear the eye of internal hemorrhage and open the retina.
In the near future, the girl will have another operation.
Vision was not completely lost, so the forced surgical intervention maintains the eye structures, their condition and the ability to see a little bit.
Let's support Aisha and help the family pay for the necessary surgery.
