Lisa is 8 years old now, and every day of her life is filled with joy and aspiration for new achievements. Despite being diagnosed with Down syndrome, as well as heart defects and vision problems, the girl does not give up and continues to move forward.
The first years of Lisa's life were full of important medical interventions: she underwent several successful surgeries, including the removal of pulmonary atresia and the removal of cataracts from both eyes. Thanks to these surgeries, Lisa has been given a chance for full physical development.
Although the girl is still a little behind in her physical and speech development, she is making great progress thanks to regular rehabilitation. Classes with a speech therapist, psychologist and therapeutic massage courses help Lisa to become stronger and more confident. Every new word and movement brings her closer to being able to communicate freely and interact with the world around her.
