Two-year-old Vitya, born prematurely at 29 weeks in Uzbekistan, is battling a serious disease - stage 4 retinopathy of prematurity and secondary glaucoma. Vitya has already undergone two inhibitor injections, a vitrectomy and glaucomatous surgery. Despite this, his vision remains severely impaired (-8).

Now there is hope for Vitya's family - the possibility of an operation in Russia that could significantly improve his vision.
