Safina is 11 years old, she has idiopathic focal epilepsy, delayed speech development. The first seizures occurred in the first year of life. At the moment, the girl is in stable remission.
During the course, in classes with an AVA specialist, Safina learned how to sort and name objects by category, she formed the concepts of "more-less" and began to develop logical thinking. The specialist also worked on the distinction and correct use of prepositions. Safina learned to complement and complete phrases, to characterize subjects, which significantly expanded her vocabulary.
The speech therapist-defectologist worked on the clear and correct pronunciation of sounds and the construction of the girl's phrasal speech. During the lessons, Safina learned to pronounce words and even phrases loudly, build a logically correct story from several sentences on a given topic, and follow the topic of conversation.
Thanks to classes on sensory integration and adaptive physical education, the girl has improved vestibular perception, she has become more in control of her body, and the number of manifestations of undesirable behavior has noticeably decreased. Safina learned how to work out on a treadmill, keep her balance on a balance beam, jump over barriers, overcome an obstacle course.
Thanks to your participation, Safina has completed an intensive rehabilitation course! Thanks for the help!
