Your support has funded Muhammad's comprehensive therapy program, including speech therapy sessions with massage, individual psychology sessions, therapeutic exercise, and Bobath therapy. These sessions help the boy develop communication skills, learn new behaviors and improve motor functions.

We observe how Muhammad is gradually showing more interest in the world around him — looking at pictures, playing with cars, recognizing letters and numbers. Each such manifestation is an important step in his development.

Muhammad has autism and needs to be rehabilitated.

At the age of one and a half, Muhammad was diagnosed with autism and delayed psycho-verbal development, which corresponds to the level of moderate mental retardation. The boy does not understand spoken language, is unsteady and exhibits stereotyped behaviour. He lacks self-care skills.

After several courses of rehabilitation Muhammad started to show interest in pictures, alphabet and books. He spontaneously names some numbers and letters, plays with cars and lines them up. However, for further development and self-care skills he needs long-term rehabilitation therapy.
