Lisa received special bandages to protect her skin!

Elizabeth is 19 years old. Despite the dystrophic form of epidermolysis bullosa (EB), Lisa tries to live a bright and fulfilling life. However, every movement is painful for her – her skin is so vulnerable that any touch can lead to injury. Most often, wounds occur in those places that are most susceptible to mechanical stress. After scarring, new ones form on top of them, the skin becomes less elastic. Meanwhile, Lisa's body continues to grow: the skin experiences tension, and everything repeats over and over again. Elizabeth is one of the most difficult wards of the Butterfly Children Foundation, she has a palliative status. Her skin is so scarred that even the bandages have to be changed once a week under general anesthesia. In fact, Lisa's life passes between home and the hospital. Sometimes chronic wounds occur in places where bandages are difficult to apply, such as the face or armpits. And then Lisa is saved by a special collagen-cellulose dressing, which, when placed on the wound, turns into a gel coating that protects against infections and promotes healing. This is a high-tech and quite expensive medical device. And Lisa has only her mother and grandmother. Today, Lisa's condition is at a turning point – she has developed several chronic wounds of a large area that have not healed for several months. She really needs modern bandages with hydrogel and it is important to be able to change them regularly. The Butterfly Children Foundation is opening a fundraiser to help Lisa and asks you to join it.
