Anya completed a rehabilitation course.

Anya is 10 years old and is in the 3rd grade. She enjoys drawing, playing chess, adaptive rollerblading and skiing, attends choreography classes, and sings in an ensemble. Anya has cerebral palsy, and thanks to regular exercises and rehabilitation, she was able to sit at one year old, walk by two, and speak her first words by the age of three. Recently, Anya completed an intensive rehabilitation course at DCA “Rodnik” from June 23 to July 5, 2025. The program included physical therapy, stretching and mobilization of tight muscles, as well as speech therapy exercises. The results were noticeable by the end of the course: her right ankle became more flexible, her foot support steadier, her gait more balanced, the range of motion in her right hand increased, and her fine motor skills in the paretic hand improved. Speech therapy helped Anya better retell stories and express her thoughts more clearly, which is important for communicating with her peers.
