Our ward, three-year-old Kolya, suffers from a complex genetic disease. But if at first doctors assessed his condition as critical, today it is no longer about saving him, but about improving his quality of life. There is every chance that Kolya will soon be discharged, and he will be able to live outside the hospital.
The foundation's nanny was with Kolya during the long months of his stay in the hospital, during all stages of treatment. Together with the doctors of the Sechenov Center for Motherhood and Childhood, she helped Kolya go through his difficult path. The child, who could only lie down and received nutrition through a tube, can now squat, crawl, and eat independently.
Kolya has every chance for further development and finding a family! Thank you for providing him with the care of a nanny in the hospital, Kolya was not alone during his treatment.
If you want to continue helping children, check out other current collections of the Road of Life Foundation. Together we can do more!
