Sarah has delayed speech development and an autism spectrum disorder. After two years, the girl had a developmental setback, she stopped looking into her eyes and responding to her name.
In AVA therapy classes, Sarah learned how to follow new instructions, including with objects, and she was working on learning how to follow several instructions at the same time. The girl also got new stimuli (doll, juice, candy). Sarah has become much better at understanding spoken language, shows great interest in classes, and listens enthusiastically to teachers.
Together with an adaptive sports instructor and a sensory integration specialist, Sarah has become better at keeping her balance and feeling her body in space, and the girl is developing a sense of balance. Now she can safely perform various physical exercises without support, as well as follow instructions while standing on a balance beam or swinging on a swing.
Thanks to your help, Sarah has completed 2 intensive rehabilitation courses in her hometown! Thanks!
