In February 2025, nannies from the ‘He Needs You’ Foundation became temporary mothers and grandmothers to 35 orphans in hospitals.
A nanny is not a luxury. For orphans, especially for children with disabilities who cannot serve themselves, a nanny is the only chance to get the necessary treatment or rehabilitation, because hospitals do not accept babies without an adult accompanying them.
Once in the hospital, children are extremely stressed. Unfamiliar environment, unpleasant medical procedures, loneliness. It is important that at this moment with the child was a nanny - thanks to her care baby will go faster on the mend.
Of course, nannies not only help in everyday matters, such as changing clothes, feeding, washing, but are also engaged in the development of children: reading, playing, counting, drawing. Nannies also make sure that doctors' recommendations are followed and often stay up at night nursing children after serious surgeries.
