Hussein is 7 years old, he has childhood autism and delayed speech development.
During rehabilitation, the behavioral analyst worked on introducing Hussein to a new stage of the PECS alternative communication system (card communication) so that he could build phrases based on a visual cue. The boy also learned to pronounce syllables correctly on his own, which is an important step towards mastering phrasal speech.
An adaptive physical education coach and a sensory integration specialist worked to improve the child's sensorimotor skills and reduce his excessive activity in space. Hussein became much calmer and more disciplined, he learned how to overcome an obstacle course, perform more complex exercises with a hoop, a ball and a rope.
Also, as part of the rehabilitation course, Hussein underwent bioacoustic brain correction and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which reduced the boy's excessive activity, normalized his psychophysiological state, improved communication skills, and improved his understanding of spoken language.
