Yulia is 37 years old, of which she has been battling blood cancer for 12 years. In Omsk, where she was born and has lived all her life, she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in 2014. At the time it was hard to believe: Yulia worked in the HR department, she had just got married, together with her husband they dreamed of having a child. After they learnt the diagnosis, it seemed like a pipe dream. But Yulia persistently went to her goal - to recover. After 3 years of exhausting treatment, she won - she had remission. By this time Yulia was already a disabled person of the second group. And a few months after the end of treatment, she and her husband were expecting a child. The pregnancy went well, a healthy long-awaited son was born. Yulia got a job. It seemed that life got better. But in 2019 she relapsed. Again a long exhausting treatment, and in 2020 Yulia underwent a bone marrow transplant. Now Yulia is relapsing again, she needs a second bone marrow transplant.
