20 children with cerebral palsy received consultations with physical therapists!

For a child with motor impairments, a wheelchair is not just a means of transportation. It’s freedom, a chance to be on equal footing with peers, to play, learn, and grow. But to choose the right wheelchair, many details must be taken into account: height, arm strength, muscle tone, lifestyle, and even where and how the child will use it. Physical therapists help find the exact model that suits each individual child. Only after a consultation does it become clear which wheelchair will provide the right support, won’t restrict movement, and will help the child feel confident. Right now, the foundation is raising funds to provide these consultations for 10 children. Each of them needs two appointments with professionals to make the right choice.
