Campaign information

Danil needs a wheelchair to move around more easily!

When Danil was born, he was immediately put on a ventilator because he could not breathe normally. After a few days his breathing improved, however, doctors found brain damage due to lack of oxygen. When he was discharged from the hospital with diagnoses of severe respiratory failure, brain damage due to oxygen deprivation and a history of seizures. By 6 months of age, specialists noted a serious developmental delay: Danil could not hold his head up well, did not turn over or reach for toys. At seven months he was officially diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Danil has many hobbies, but due to serious disabilities such as decreased muscle strength, limited active movements, balance and coordination problems, Danil is in dire need of a modern wheelchair. He currently uses an unsuitable model that limits his abilities. The new Otto Bock Avangard Teen wheelchair is a reliable and comfortable device that will help him walk more, visit hospitals, rehabilitation centers and become more independent. Let's help Danil become more independent!
