Muslim is 11 years old and has autism. After undergoing numerous rehabilitations, the boy began to understand the converted speech better, but he still does not have his own speech.
During the intensive ABA therapy classes, Muslim's understanding of converted speech has significantly improved, onomatopoeia and first words have appeared! The boy became more diligent and focused on his tasks, and he became interested in his studies. Muslim is also actively developing visual perception – the comparison of identical and non-identical images, sorting by color and shape.
With a speech therapist, the boy learned how to pronounce vowels and some consonants correctly - for example, the sound "re", "ge", "li". Syllable learning has also begun, which is an important step towards the emergence of phrasal speech.
In classes with an adaptive physical sports instructor, Muslim discovered new fitness equipment - a treadmill, an elliptical trainer, and an exercise bike. And after sensory integration classes, the child now stands confidently on a balance beam, performs exercises with a ball, cones, and a hoop, and has learned to jump over barriers.
