Valera was born prematurely at 7 months of age with a neurosurgical condition and a number of severe pathologies. The regional doctors' prognoses were not encouraging: they believed that despite the 4 surgeries he had undergone by the age of 3 months, the boy would never be able to walk, talk, or lead a normal life.
Thanks to the work of the "He Needs You" Foundation, Valery underwent 5 brain surgeries and multiple rehabilitations. We provided him with a verticalizer, a wheelchair, a stroller, and specialized nutrition.
Vitaly raises his son alone and tirelessly takes care of his health, thanks to which the boy makes great progress – Valery now walks and in development has almost caught up with peers. The costs of constant rehabilitation turn out to be substantial. Vitaly appealed to our fund for help in the form of payment for services of the much-needed rehabilitation program for his son.
Valera went through a rehabilitation course, which was aimed at setting speech skills.
