Artem underwent surgery. Now he will develop like a healthy baby!

Artem was born only in December. And almost immediately he was diagnosed with craniosynostosis: premature fusion of the skull bones.

Normally, this fusion occurs much later, when the child's brain stops growing. For Artem, his pathology meant that very soon there would be no room left inside his head, the deformation of the bones and eye sockets would become even more pronounced, and the compression of the brain would lead to ischemia, epilepsy, and loss of vision.

Fortunately, this congenital malformation is successfully treated surgically. But the operation requires expensive titanium plates. The baby has a large family - four children. And the parents cannot help the youngest child.

Artem's illness will not lead to any consequences if the operation is carried out in the first 6 months of the child's life.
