A volunteer found Rex wandering around the yards looking for food 6 years ago. The search for the owners was unsuccessful. So the dog ended up in a shelter. Active and full of energy, he always enjoys rare walks, but a month ago he suddenly began to fall. Volunteers took him to a clinic for an examination, where he was diagnosed with problems with his spleen. Further ultrasound showed that it was twisted. This can only be corrected surgically, so he was scheduled for an urgent operation to avoid tissue necrosis.
