Mehruza, 10, from Uzbekistan, found out about the disease by accident. She fell while rollerblading and bruised her knee. The pain did not go away, a limp appeared, and

This type of bone cancer is especially common among teenagers and is dangerous with complications up to amputation of limbs. Timely treatment gives good results and reduces the risk of joint and walking problems.
Charitable foundations helped Mehruza pay for chemotherapy and surgery to put an endoprosthesis in her leg. Now she needs three more rounds
of chemotherapy.
