Women come to our foundation during difficult life moments — when they learn about serious diagnoses in their unborn babies, face pregnancy complications, or experience the loss of a child. In such moments, they are especially vulnerable and need professional psychological support.
Sahayaana Chirikova's story is a vivid example. A single mother raising a 5-year-old son with a disability. During her second pregnancy she learned about a severe congenital heart defect in her daughter. Immediately after birth, the girl underwent complex surgery and the baby stayed in intensive care. Every day for Sahayaana is a struggle with fears for her daughter's life. Psychological help gives her the strength to continue caring for her children and herself.
Our psychologists help women with complicated pregnancies prepare for childbirth and cope with anxiety. If a loss occurs, we help them process the experience of grief and find resources to care for themselves and their families. We stay by their side for as long as necessary.
Please support the work of our psychologists. Your help becomes a pillar of support for women when they are going through especially difficult times.
